Our Wish List

RDA (NSW) Raymond Terrace and Lower Hunter supporters have asked us if there is anything specific that we need for our Centre.  As a non-profit organisation we rely heavily on the generosity of donors to assist us in meeting the running cost of our Centre including the cost of our horses, centre maintenance, and program needs.

We have broken down our wish list into different areas to help our supporters identify where these items are needed.

Riding Programs – our programs operate weekly within the school term. 

Helmets – In 2026 we will require new helmets for our riders.  Cost $100 to $200 each.

Sensory Garden – one of our outdoor riding program areas. 

Newcastle Knights and Newcastle Jets equipment – balls, flags and statues to update our themed footy and soccer area in our sensory garden – $6 to $50

Push Bikes – need the wheels, frame and pedals – $40 to $100

Horses

Rugs – light weight combo rugs (not canvas).  $100 to $200 each.

General – general products used by volunteers, riders, and carers 

Photocopy Paper – $5 to $6 a ream

Envelopes – DL Window Self Seal and DL Plain Self Seal – Envelopes $20 to $25 box of 500

Stamps – 

Glen 20 – $8 per bottle

Surface Wipes – $5 to $8 per pack

Paper Towel – $2 to $5 per pack

Large Garbage Bags – $2 to $5 per pack

Dish Washer Tablets – $6 to $20 per pack

Dish Washer Replacement – $300 to $500

Fence Paint in Kentucky Black Outdoor – 4 x 20L tubs – $70 to $80 a tub

Gift Cards – gift cards that would be useful for our Centre

The Big Wishes for our Centre

Downpipe Guttering and Plumber – 20 metres of downpipe work and a plumber to install guttering in certain areas – $10 to $20K

Outdoor Verandah Sheeting – 6  x 2 metre sheets and a tradesman to replace old sheets on outdoor verandah – $5 to 10K

Stable area – Concrete slab extension from horse stables to car park area. $15 to $20K

Sick Bay Paddock – Concrete slab. $8 to 10K

Retaining Wall and Car Park area – $50K to $60K

Tractor with backhoe and bucket – $50K
